October 1945. The war is over, but something has followed the soldiers home.

On an isolated ranch in the American high plains, June Voss cares for her younger brother Harlan, a severely wounded soldier recently returned from Europe. But as mysterious deaths and gruesome mutilations plague the surrounding land, it becomes clear that Harlan has brought home something far more terrifying than the scars of war.

Elias, a battle-scarred former Army Sergeant, arrives with a horrifying warning. Harlan has been infected by an ancient evil known as the Nachzehrer, a vampiric creature capable of spreading its curse to the living. As night falls and the dead begin to rise, the ranch becomes a blood-soaked battleground where family, loyalty, and survival collide.

With her family turning against her and an ancient evil threatening to spread beyond the ranch, June must make an unthinkable choice: save the people she loves or destroy what they've become.

The war ended overseas. The real battle followed them home.
